ARTIST STORY

Born and raised in Washington Heights/Dyckman, C.E.D. developed his passion for music at age five, playing drums in the recording studio alongside his father, Dr. Arthur Streeter. Growing up during Hip-Hop’s golden era, he absorbed the lyricism, beats, and energy of New York radio before progressing from high-school freestyling into songwriting, recording, and live performance.

His musical journey includes behind-the-scenes experience with Oz Music Group and the Roc-A-Fella Records street team, battling MCs at SOBs in Manhattan, and performing at a BMI showcase at DownTime.

These experiences helped shape an artistic identity grounded in lyricism, lived experience, creative independence, and respect for Hip-Hop culture.
